Hundreds of Syrians filled Damascus's streets as a sign of support for their government head Bashar al-Assad following US air strikes, Great Britain and France.
Missile attacks eliminated a chemical weapons research center and a military base in Damascus.
Crowds not influenced by Assad's division from the West as a bad “monster, and his portraits marched and travelled through the streets.
Some stood on top of cars, with weapons and Syrian flags on their hands while dressed in military clothing.
“We are your sons”, they shouted.
The good spirits did not underestimate”, Assad wrote on social networks after the bombing.
Friday night, the missiles lit up the Syrian sky. About 110 rockets were fired from naval ships and planes as part of the co-ordinated attack.
Syria tried to shoot them with the missile defence system, but it remains unclear how successful it was in their collapse.
