A resolution proposed by Russia to the UN Security Council condemning the shootings taken this morning by three Western allies towards Syrian targets has not received enough votes.
The Russian bill urged US and its allies to immediately stop aggression against the Arab Republic of Syria”.
Only Russia, China and Bolivia voted in favour of the draft resolution.
Eight countries voted against, while four others have abstained.
The United States, France and Britain launched air strikes Saturday morning, launching 105 rockets on three Syrian chemical weapons objects -- one in Damascus, two others near Homs on the border with Lebanon.
