Rahoveci collects environmental actors for World Earth Day notice, Haradinaj also attends

On this day, the Rahovec municipality and the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning will organise joint educational and cleaning activities.
Under the established agenda, activities will begin at 10 o'clock in the town park in Rahovec, where Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj and MMPH Minister Albena Resiti will be present.
Among other things, organizing a race in drawing and painting is planned between students of Rahovec's schools, and the subject will be Earth and the environment. The three best works will be rewarded with modest financial sums. Young men and women will also be encouraged to use recycling materials as well as promotion of the Rahoveci municipality's agricultural products.
Meanwhile, several decorative trees on Earth Day will be planted in the town park, while in some locations of the Rahovec municipality, identified as the most polluted area, cleaning and planting about 1500 pine seedlings.
A discussion table with experts and groups and individuals dealing with environmental issues and land protection will be organised at the conclusion of activities. The table is held at the Park Hotel facilities in Rahovec with the presence of local and central media.
The Rahovec municipality, the Directorate for Urbanism, Planning and Environmental Protection, as the host of this event, enjoys the support of MMPH, NGOs; “Lets Do in Kosova”, Regional Environmental Center (REC), Green Art Center (GAC) and local environmental organisations. Co-ordinator of this event has been named Rumir Zhunqi, director of DEPM at Rahoveci Executive.
