Crossing the red light of the traffic, stopping at the pedestrian crossing, parking, is just some of the many traffic rules broken by drivers themselves.

But what most exasperates citizens is that cars don't respect “Zebrat”, or pedestrian crossing.

Based on the Law on Road Traffic Rules, there is a ban on vehicle in these countries, namely, footpaths, bicycle crossings, and less than five (5) feet before such a crossing.

Information of the Kosovo Police has said that the driver of the vehicle, who pauses or parks the vehicle contrary to communications rules, is sentenced to countertake, with a fine of 30 euros.

“Based on Law on Road Traffic Rules No. 05L-088, Article 92 ʹ Places where vehicle ban is prohibited, paragraph 1. It is forbidden to stop the vehicle in these places, specifically below paragraph 1.7. at the pedestrian crossing, on the bicycle crossing, and at a distance of less than five) meters before such a crossing. In this regard, the sanctions were introduced in paragraph 6, which are condemned for countertake, with a fine of 30 (30) euros, the driver who stops or parks the vehicle contrary to the provisions of this Article” is said to answer for the Index.

Police caution that during the time of columns formed inside the city, drivers must keep in mind that they should stop before “Zebrat”, or after that, so that they can let the pedestrian route go free.

“At the time of pillars in the city participants must act not to stop at the pedestrian crossing, but any ban is made before or after the pedestrian crossing by non-”, the Kosovo Police reply.
