The Assembly of the Podujevo municipality has held today extraordinary meetings, in which it has been debated about the health sector situation in this municipality.
At the session called at the initiative of 13 advisers, AAK adviser Patriot Rudari, as the initiative to call the session, has counted the reasons for calling this session before advisers.
He said health institutions in the Podujevo municipality do not provide quality services and lack professional-special medical staff, lack of equipment and lack of discipline, while noting even the functioning of the city's hospital.
While, on behalf of LDK Council Group Avni Fetah, he considered the call of the extraordinary health hearing unnecessary, as health institutions are, according to him, offering the necessary services to patients.
But, LVV Councils Group chief Fitim Haziri said there are numerous irregularities in health institutions.
Even the chief of the PDK councillors' group, Rafet Llapashtica, addressed remarks about this sector, saying the debate on health is taking place at the time when there are no directors of Health and Social Management.
Komuna Deputy Chairman Neddi Rudari estimated that the extraordinary session has been called for political purposes, as at the Parliament's work plan at the May month session, the health report has been introduced.
He said the situation in the health sector is satisfactory, but that it can be done even more in improving the delivery of medical services.
LVV adviser Blerim Macastena, participating in the discussion, asked questions and asked the director of the Centre for Family Medicine, Zaim Thaci.
While, the moment QKMF director Zaim Thaci went to the speaker to provide clarifications, PDK and LVV advisers, except Machastena councillors, abandoned the meeting.
