Ramush Haradinaj's government holds a black record. Like no other postwar, it has three ministers who are accused of corruption or other crimes, Koha Ditore writes today.
Pal Lekaj, minister of Infrastructure, is the last of those to whom the indictment was filed. Kosovo's special prosecutor has confirmed Thursday that he is accused of two acts dealing with abuse of official office.
The Act on Minister Lekaj has surrendered to the Constitutional Court in Gjakova, from which he is and whose mayor the municipality has been for two terms.
Lekaj is accused precisely of abuse of duty during the time he led Gjakova. Based on a reaction he has made after publishing the news of the indictment, the violation is based on the division of certain subsidies.
The minister insists that the division had become a law reform.
