US Ambassador Greg Delaway has expressed his sorrow and regret over the accident and resulting in the loss of two Kosovo police officers.
Delawi, in a Twitter post, has said that he supports the efforts of all institutions involved in the two police search-saving action.
On behalf of the American Embassy in Pristina, I would like to express sorrow and regret towards the Kosovo Police and the affected families, as the search continues for missing police after the car accident. We Support The PK and KSF in their ongoing efforts to locate members of the KP” wrote Delaway on Twitter.
On Saturday, around 9:00 p.m., after an accident hit on Elez's Hani Street ézcanik, two Kosovo police officers were lost after falling into the Lepenc River. The search for them is still continuing.
