Deeuroisation in Albania harms exports, tourism, and population living in remittances

The negative effects of the deeuroisation process have alerted the Albanian Export Centre and Albanian Food Industry.
In a letter sent to the governor of the Bank of Albania, Gent Sejko, Finance Minister Arben Ahmetaj, and to Prime Minister Edi Rama's knowledge, the associations note that the negative effect on Albania's economy amounts to 14 billion dollars -- close to 108m euros.
