Although farmers suspect that their cattle are affected by the skin shell disease, Kosovo Food and Veterina Agency say there are no cattle affected by this disease in Kosovo.
Farmer Sami Zenelli of the village of Lipjane, who said that about three weeks later he treated the cattle that he had bought in Lipjan, but is now doubting he is affected by skin disease.
The veterinarian's report, Bujar Ejupi, has also been diagnosed with skin bumps.
I bought him in Lipjan and right away how I brought him on the first day I noticed that the cow was sick, and I took him for three weeks, regularly, I had a doctor, I had names all, I had a doctor, I had to look at him, now recently two days ago I noticed myself touching the bumps on the cow, and I went right back and told these bodies that are in our municipality at Bujar, the doctor came in and checked, said the report, and I suspected 90 percent that he's going to be able to express it.
Farmer has stated that other doctors who have controlled the dish have treated other diseases as a problem with lungs and noses.
Zenel has expressed concern that his 20 other leaders are in danger.
Farmer Sami Zeneli has also complained about the Kosovo Food and Veterina Agency, as he said they have not come long to inspect the case.
In this regard, AUVK spokesman Lamir Thaci, for KosovaPress, has stated that as soon as they have been announced in the case, their inspection troops have come to the scene where diagnostic checks have been conducted.
He says that according to these checks, there is no sign in question that he has been affected with skin disease.
The genius has been treated for two weeks straight by different veterinarians or by those he has called to perform treatment as provided with the rules in force. And after two weeks of treatment, we've been notified that it's a case of self-defence. Our professional inspection troops have gone out on the ground and conducted diagnostic checks and wrote the script, at the same time they have received samples for analysis. While on the basis of the analysis carried out by veterinarians or our Agency inspectors, there is no doubt about the disease, there are many symptoms that do not give of this disease, at the same time the time period is too early to be able to get the disease”, he has declared.
To exclude all doubts concerning the case, Thaci said they are awaiting the outcome of tests to confirm any doubts.
He has added that there is no reported case in Kosovo this year either.
And we haven't had a single case last year, nor do we have this year, nor do we have a single case that has been announced or anything else, I believe we won't have this year since we're carrying out all the preventative measures over time and I believe and I hope that everything will go well as provided by veterinarian experts, and we expect to have no farmers whose cattle will be affected by this”, Thaci said.
According to him, AUVK has taken preventative measures to prevent this disease, since nearly a week has started action on animal vaccination, while for application there are a total of 170 thousand doses.
The county vaccine action says it will be free for all farmers, until it stressed that these vaccines are donations from the European Commission, while their application has been covered as an expense AUVK.
In contrast, the throat disease of the skin (LSD) is a disease that affects the glands and causes fever, depression, bumps and edem, increased lymph nodes, also bumps in membrane mucosa, nose leaks and eyes, reduced milk production, foot swelling and lameness.
Clinical signs are more common in milk cows during the lactation peak and young calves.
