Two Muriqan border police officers have been arrested by the Internal Affairs and Ankes Service for abuse of office.
Arrested are Luan Jaka, with control duty in Muriqan and Bardhok Preci, Tarni, at the Border Police station in Strygin.
They are charged with “criminal offence Disuse of duty” and the Court had decided on them “Arret in prison”.
Investigations have documented that against payments amounting to 100 euros, these police officers squandering office allowed the crossing to the border point of Albanian citizens who were banned from travel to the Schengen area, as well as record and seal out the passports of various citizens to avoid violating the term of stay in the Schengen area. / TCh/
