Will the VAR be used at the World Cup?

International officials in Zurich have finally confirmed the official position about one of the most controversial issues of this season in football: use of the V system AR (Video Assistt Referee) matches the Russian world championship.

THE VAR will be used in the World “Russia-1818x1>, which will take place from June 14th to July 15th. So it was placed in complete unanimousity at the meeting held in Zurich by the IFAB (International Football Association Board).

“This meeting represents a new age for football”, writes in his stance IFAB, the body specifically set up to modify rules in football.

Only FIFA's final decision, considered mere formalism, is already expected.
