The touching story of Donjeta Pajazit's family, which was found murdered in the Stralcit Mountains (Video)

November 9, 2015, was the last day the Pajaziti family saw their daughter alive.

Like any other day, the 24-year-old woman from Decani's Strell was on her way to work.

For six weeks, the family waited in a nightmare that Donette would return alive.

They experienced it severely when the girl killed with two bullets in her head came to their backyard.

The prime suspect in her murder was their 60-year-old cousin, Naser Pajaziti, who had lied to the family that the girl had been married in a village of Peja.

The family's pain was compounded when Peja's Foundation Court declared Naser innocent, although enough evidence had been offered that he had committed the murder.

 We've been waiting for him to be found guilty because two years of this trial, and finally I'm acquitted I don't know why. The court, they're seeing their work. It's done. Corruption here is at stake. We've had facts, for every session we're convinced more and more on the basis of witnesses, on the basis of evidence, so this one is guilty, but in the end he was acquitted, I don't know why that's why, said the Pajazit, Donita's brother.

According to family members, the villagers saw the situation but showed nothing.

 We as a family have felt disappointed mostly by the malaise, the pajazit that the Pajasite, because six weeks since they've disappeared we've asked them if anyone knows anything, has anyone seen it or naj san, say nothing, just ask if there's anything new from Donita and they didn't say that, then when the court process came all the way, because they had it all day without a situation.

In fact, Eminence says they changed their statements to the court.

Distorted, Donita's brother says the court had enough evidence to punish the 60-year-old.

“We're not in agreement with this decision, now we have enough legal proceedings, enough evidence that he's the killer, but we don't know the court why you let him go. The most important fact is that his breast (Naser) was first taken by the police, he said I was having my dick in the jeep, when they confronted Naser with his breast, and they had a claim that she pointed at his father you're not with me, watch out what they have, she's already got them. There's a live camera in the village, it's completely proven.

Donate's family wants the killers to face justice, whoever they are.

 If they can prove that this is not the case, then let them know who, they don't even have a clue or anything to kill themselves in the mountains. But someone took it, if it hadn't taken you, like the other day he went to work, he would have gone that day. If they're saying justice is not that, why don't they find out who it is, but there's enough evidence that it is.

From the Kosovo Women's Network, they say justice in Kosovo is not fair in the face of female killers.

 Not always is justice fair to women's killers. We in the past year witnessed the very low punishment of Necbi Gashi, the assassins of Zeynep Bytyqi, and in that case we had reacted as a network we had immediately by accusing a lawyer and helping the family in this case take the indictment to the Court of Appeals, where the sentence was filed for the killer.”, Adelina Berisha said.

Berisha says the partisan thinking of Kosovo society often reasons violence and crime.

And justice calls it selective.

If we look at the punishment of women who killed a man in self-defence, they're pretty high, and the sentences of men who are killing women not in self-defense, but as domestic violence, they're much lower, and they're kind of the same as the women who did it in self-defense, like men who did it for points of fun. She added.

From this network they say it is disturbing that the number of such cruel murders is increasing, while the interest of institutions continues to lack.

Donjeta Pajaziti is not the only case of a murdered female whose killers continue to be at large.
