Cars were waiting for the lighting of green light when the 950-ton bridge, which was built last Saturday, collapsed, causing chaos and deadly damage to humans.

A motorcyclist caught sight of a few moments before the collapse after the bridge disappeared, reports the “Daily Mall”, Periscope broadcast.

United States Senator Bill Nelson for “Miami” TV said that between 6 and 10 people died as a result of the accident, while fire chief Dave Downey confirmed that four people were found in ruins.

The cause of the bridge's collapse remains unclear.

Two of the workers were close to the bridge to test its infrastructure, but official authorities have not confirmed whether they are considered dead.

The bridge was 53m long and had not been opened for circulation.
