Serbia erupts against NATO because of Russia

Serbian Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin has said the declaration of NATO's Supreme Commander Curtis Scaparrotti , that Russia is one of the biggest threats for Europe, is one of the most dangerous statements against Serbia since the Western alliance bombed it in 1999. The American general said he has [...]
The American general said he has noticed an added Russian influence in a year and a half that he is leading NATO in Europe, adding that Russian influence in Europe is more threatening than in Baltic countries, Lithuania, Latif and Estonia.
Scaparrotti said that since the Baltic countries are important, they are already NATO members and enjoy the most stable position on the continent. In contrast, he appeared most concerned with Serbia's support in the Balkans on the part of Russia, as Serbs are more vulnerable to Russian influence, reports the Associated Press, Kosovohas.
Vulin, who is known for his stand with Russia, answered the American general by saying,
There hasn't been any more irresponsible statements since 1999. Saying that all the people (Serbian) pose a danger to the Balkans, it is a call for the entire Balkans to become together against Serbs”, Voulin was quoted as saying.
In the Balkans, it fears that Russia is using the historic Slavic connection with Serbia to destabilise the Balkans, which during Yugoslavia's division in the 1990s, has seen the largest massacre in Europe since World War II.
“has no Russian influence in Serbia. Serbia is an independent state that chooses its friends”, Voulin said.
Scaparrotti during a hearing in the Senate had said that “Russia is working in the Balkans. I think we've taken some attention away from this area”.
Serbia formally wants to become an EU member, but its leaders have been working continuously with Moscow strengthening military and political ties with it, despite calls from the Western bloc that if Balkan states want to membership, then we must follow a common foreign policy.
