Russian motorists' club “Night Wolfes”, known for nationalism and loyalty to President Vladimir Putin, has announced it will tour Bosnia and Serbia in mid-March.

Tens of members of the group, which is under US sanctions due to its role in fighting pro-Russian separatists east of Ukraine, will tour Balkan countries “to explore the cultural impact of the Russian Empire in the Balkans”, the group said on its website.
Bosnia's Minister for National Security Dragan Mektic has earlier criticised “the night waters”, saying they aim to intimidate the moderate Bosnian Serbs and non-Serbs before the October elections.
“The night wolves” are not “club of typical bikers, they carry powerful political messages”, Mektic said, citing earlier reports that the group plans to open an office in Banja Luka to monitor the elections.
“The night wolves” said their members will visit Bosnia and Serbia for about nine days, starting on 19 March, in Belgrade.
