With full confidence and deep sense of responsibility I have made an important decision, but not so easy. From today, the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj have entrusted me with the position of the Nacional Co-ordinator for State Reform”, Tahiri has indicated.
According to Tahiri, to make reform clearer, there is a need for a standardized map of the procedures and responsibilities of institutional mechanisms at all levels.
According to him, state reform is necessary to increase its performance.
It generally consists of passing the state from an administrative operation to an management operation, from a bureaucratic system to a set of mechanisms inspired by new public management”, has gone to Tahiri on Facebook.

Dear friends, colleagues and fellow workers,
With full confidence and deep sense of responsibility, I have made an important but not so easy decision. From today, the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj have entrusted me with the position of the Nacional Co-ordinator for State Reform.
After almost two decades of professional commitment, in the field of local governance and democratisation, on the 10th anniversary of the KLGI Institute, the organisation, which, together with colleagues, central and local institutions, partners and donors, we have built on the stable platform of supporting and strengthening democratic foundations. Now when I am launching a new mission, of institutional engagement in support of reforms as targets for the country and common goal of integration. Mission not easy, but not impossible.
I believe that laws and policies are not there to prevent forbidden development service, they should be improved whenever obstacles and uncertainty arise. We need a system that promotes good governance, which offers efficiency and stability, continued improvement of policies and processes should be a goal. And that for us is reform. This should not be seen as a duty or condition for integration, but in the first place, we must do it to increase the sustainable development and welfare of citizens.
Reforms always serve as catalysts in improving processes. However, it is basic for reforms to be progressive, in opening with dynamics and trends with contemporary democratic processes. So a democratic government envisions practices and processes that ensure government structures are not separate from citizens. So the key condition for having stable and democratic processes for reform is the ability to make citizens trust policymakers by including them in decision-making processes. The stronger the link between the two sides increases the confidence that guarantees successful and democratic development.
The process is hopeful. This, given initially European target standards and then the positive initiatives of Kosovo institutions in the reform process. Reforms as a concept and process require privacy and energy, however, have taken the first steps.
To make reform clearer, there is a need for a standardized map of procedures and responsibilities of institutional mechanisms at all levels. So state reform is necessary to increase its performance. It generally consists of passing the state from an administrative functioning to an management operation, from a bureaucratic system to a whole of mechanisms inspired by new public management.
First of all, this is not just duty, but it is the common goal of institutions, civil society, media and citizens to cut the road towards European integration, essentially strengthening structures, spirit and processes. So the steps are clear: A deep reform and transformation must take place, in order for the state to become a development generator and acceleration of integration. /Periscopi
