NISMA urges parliamentary investigation into deportation of Turkish citizens

The Social Democrat Initiative has held the chairmanship meeting. At this meeting, it has been discussed about recent political developments in the country, especially the expulsion of six Turkish citizens to the Republic of Turkey.
The initiative estimates that human rights have been violated with this act and the foundations of the country's democracy have been severely violated.
The initiative estimates that Kosovo as an independent and democratic state must implement the country's Constitution and respect obligations stemming from international rights and conventions, the communique issued by the Initiative said.
In addition, the communique says, the “by yesterday's actions has not respected hierarchy or the spirit that we intend to build. The initiative commends the position of opposition and status deputies on the issue. At the same time, we are aware of the consequences this action can cause”.
