Democratic League of Kosovo MP Dorothy Maloku has said that the Food and Veterinary Agency (AUV) would have to answer some questions about the broken meat scandal that has engulfed Kosovo in recent weeks.
Maloku has had six questions about this agency that if he had done the job right, it wouldn't have been sold in Kosovo.
On the other hand, she has also made the prime minister's office, which is directly responsible for AWA.
Below is the deputy's full reaction:
Media are continuing to report for” Meat scandal”. The Food and Veterinary Agency needs to answer these questions:
1. Why isn't meat stopped indefinitely in Dogan by AUV inspectors?
2. What is the quantity of imported meat, and from what companies has it been imported?
3. What brands or metres in Kosovo have sold?
4. Is the inspection operation under way throughout Kosovo territory?
5. What are the meat processing factories that have been inspected and recorded irregularities?
6. What measures are being taken to prevent the sale of such products?
The office of Kosovo Prime Minister, which is directly responsible for the Food and Veterinary Agency, should urgently inform Kosovo's citizens of the course as well as the consequences of consumption of these products!
The Kosovo government urgently needs to increase the number of inspectors in Customs even on the ground so that this situation does not repeat itself! And those who have poisoned and deceived consumers, I expect them to receive due punishment!
