LDK Parliamentary Group chief Avdullah Hoti, US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Wes Mitchell, on his visit today, confirmed once again the US stand on Kosovo.
He has further said that the LDK will not accept any concessions the ruling coalition could reach with the Serbian List for ratification of demarcation with Montenegro, Klen Kosova submits. “The LDK highly praises this position and the crucial role of the US in the most important moments of the liberation and construction of the state of Kosovo”.
“The LDK remains committed to building a democratic Kosovo, which is in good neighborhood with countries in the region, integrated into the EU and NATO, and in permanent friendship with the US”. “We expect the ruling coalition to secure the votes needed to ratify the demarcation agreement, which paves the way for visa liberalisation. We warn the ruling coalition that we will not accept any kind of concession that can reach with their ruling partner, the Serbian List, to ensure support for the demarcation vote. We don't accept any concessions that go against the interests of the country”.
