Kosovo Mayor Xhafer Tahiri has met with Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, from whom he has received promises that the Government of Kosovo will back the development projects of the municipality of Vushtrri, while the biggest project is the “R220x1> road. Bukosh ʹ Glavoti, 18km long, connecting the 27 villages of the Vushtrri municipality. The cost of the project is 800 thousand euros
A 3-year project, road project “R220” Bukosh ʹ Glavatin, which connects the 27 villages of the municipality of Vushtrri, at the foot of Qyqavica, will begin to realise this year. This road, which is over 60 years old and built in the time of the former Yugoslavia, is one of the main projects to be financed by the Ministry of Infrastructure of the Republic of Kosovo. Infrastructure Minister Paul Lekaj, who has met in Vushtrri first of this Jhafer Tahiri municipality, has assured that this ministry will finance several infrastructure projects, in which the municipality of Vushtrri will co-finance.
Xhafer Tahiri, chairman of Vushtrri, said that with Minister Lekaj, he has discussed joint infrastructure projects. He explained that construction of the Pristina highway ão Mitrovica will continue, the Nedakovc road expansion project will be realised, the Smrekovnica bridge will be completed in Pestovo, as well as the regional road construction project for villages at the foot of Qyqavica. Tahiri has said he has also talked about the Vushtrri Street project Nadakovc '%Pestovo.
