The ruling parties are awaiting response from Serbian List deputies in the fourth attempt to ratify demarcation.
They have not indicated whether circumstances have been created for the demarcation to eventually be voted in this week, Koha Ditore writes today.
This is due to the lack of even two votes, so that two-thirds more can be achieved to ratify international agreements.
Newspaper sources have said the ruling parties are awaiting confirmation of the Serbian List, which has so far been missing because of developments in Belgrade, where it was voted for local elections Sunday. According to sources, during the week there is expected to be positive movement with the Serbian List, “since there is also international pressure in Belgrade for the official demarcation vote”.
The main request of the Serbian List remains the founding of the Association of Serb majority municipalities, “without delay to add to”, which is also discussed at the last meeting in Brussels between Kosovo and Serbia.
