European Integration Minister Gift Hoxha, during the official visit, has met Mr. Romain Schweider, Minister for Development of Co-operation and humanitarian Affairs, where he praised Schweider's commitment and contribution, as well as his readiness for Luxembourg support for Kosovo to proceed with the up-to-date dynamics in very important projects for Kosovo.
European Integration Minister Gift Hoxha, during the official visit, has met with Rome Schweider, Minister for Development of Co-operation and Human Affairs, where she praised Mr. Schweider, as well as his readiness for Luxembourg support for Kosovo to continue with the current dynamic, in very important projects for Kosovo.
In this case, the bilateral agreement was also signed, where financial support worth 30m euros is awarded to the Republic of Kosovo for controversial and harmonised projects in bilateral reconciliation.
Kosovo's “The need for the integration process to be completed as soon as possible, with projects affecting the fulfillment of political, economic and rule of law”, Minister Hoxha stressed, the Ministry's Communications reports.
Minister Hoxha and Minister Schweider also discussed the achievements and challenges of the integration process, the implementation of the SAA, the reform agenda from the European Agency, justice and economic reform, as well as the issue of Kosovo's integration into international bodies, stressing that visa liberalisation and economic development affect the welfare of citizens, is essential for current processes.
Minister Schweider confirmed that Luxembourg was and remains a powerful supporter of the Republic of Kosovo, noting the importance of financed projects, public health, as well as other projects in health.
After the meeting, the bilatheral meeting was held, where details of the 2017-2020 bilateral Agreement were discussed, where technical assistance was granted to the European Integration Ministry, assistance for the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Health, Education and Environment, ratifying the agreement on Kosovo's financial support from Luxembourg by 30m euros.
The projects destined for health were assessed the current ones, as well as the possibility of their mid-term review, health-ratement reform -- Health Sector Strategy 2014-2020, challenges related to implementation of the Health Information System, regional hospitals, looks at the health sector and the new phase of the Luxembourg project, as well as the co-ordination of donors.
Professional education, in Prizren and Ferizaj, where sustainability, financing and profiles were discussed, as well as Ratification of the bilateral agreement on professional education.
The other important issue at the bilatheral meeting was the water issue, the completion of the current project by Luxembourg, as well as experiences from this project. Civil Society and support for K will also be supported CSF, Caritas and FKL, as well as the central-Termocos heating system. Also, multilateral projects have been discussed, in particular the EURZH (Council for Small Business).
