That response comes a day after Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj acquitted the accused of organised crime, Azem Syla.
Haradinaj had said the judiciary is more to blame than Syla, who is accused as leader of an organised criminal group.
K The JPS has stated it cannot comment on developing cases and has added that such statements seriously violate the independence of the judicial system.
“The KDR re-exemplifies that courts in Kosovo look into cases fairly, impartially and in accordance with the law in power, and will not be influenced by such statements”, the KDR response reported.
