The Kosovar Centre for Transparency, Accounting and Against Corruption UN 16 I has been addressed with a letter to the ombudsman for the start of investigations and the initiative of the case at the Constitutional Court for violations of human rights by the president, the Government and Police of Kosovo in case of arrest and suspicion of deportation of 6 Turkish citizens from Kosovo authorities in Turkey.
In this case KUNT 16 has also called for recommendation for the initiative of procedures for the dismissal of Kosovo's president, other government officials and the general director of the Kosovo Republic of Kosovo Police involved in the case.

Yesterday, on March 29th 2018, in the Republic of Kosovo according to official information, six Turkish citizens have been arrested from the Kosovo Republic Police with permission to stay in Kosovo and are suspected of having been deported to Turkey at the request of the Government of the Republic of Turkey by violating the Constitution, laws of the Republic of Kosovo and the International Convention on Human Rights that Kosovo has pledged to respect.
For this day on March 30th, 2018, the prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo has made a decision to free him from official responsibility for the Minister of Internal Affairs and the director of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency with the “argument that yesterday's actions in this case were completely unacceptable and contrary to our values and principles as a people and as a state of”. With this decision the Government of the Republic of Kosovo has acknowledged that violations have been made, even though the reasoning of these decisions is flawed in the reason for the violations of the Constitution and the laws of the Republic of Kosovo.
Based on Article 132 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, based on Article 1, 16, 17, 18 and 19 of the Law for Ombudsman in the Republic of Kosovo, the Kosovar Centre for Transparency, Accounting and Anti-corruption KUNDP 16 demands:
That the ombudsman under Article 16, and international human rights instruments, especially with the European Convention for Human Rights, including actions or inactions that present abuse of authority, the beginning of investigations against the president, Kosovo Government and Kosovo Police Officials, respectively;
For the Ombudsman under Article 16 of the Ombudsman's Law to initiate the issue of arrest and deportation of Turkish citizens from the Kosovo authorities in Turkey to the Constitutional Court in accordance with Constitutional Court and Law, focusing on the role of the president, Kosovo Government High Officials and Kosovo Police, respectively, the Kosovo General Director of Police and recommendation for their dismissal based on constitutional violations, legal and international human rights instruments.
Given the role and constitutional and legal obligations, we hope and expect from the ombudsman's institution a positive response to our request.
