The government has earmarked 500 thousand euros for marking the 550th anniversary of the dead Gjergj Kastriot-Skenderbeu.
Initially, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj proposed that 943 thousand euros be set apart, but that proposal was rejected by Finance Minister Bedri Hamza.
“... I propose that 943 thousand euros be separated from which 250 thousand will be used for the restoration of the church in Prizren”.
Hamza said the ministry he runs in this period could provide up to 500m euros for the issue.
Minister Hamza called on the ministers to be cautious when they ask for equipment from the reserve, as he says the reserves are at the bottom.
