Besides that, other municipalities have also faced the risk of stray dogs, KTV reports.
In the absence of a budget, they have been powerless to solve this problem. On their behalf, the Kosovo Communist Association had asked the Government to allocate 1.3m euros for their treatment.
It has been approved for three months, while funds, along with responsibility for resolving the problem, have been attached to the Food and Veterinary Agency.
But, in the AUV still does not start treating stray dogs, despite the fact that the shared fund is emergency.
The emergency phase, according to AUV spokesman Lamir Thaci, will not include building shelters, but only treatment.
The emergency fund, according to him, has only been earmarked for this year. And from 2019, with the problem of stray dogs, municipalities will have to be re-acquired.
