UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Raıd Al Jussein declared today that President Filipino Rodrigo Dutterte, who has offended United Nations Rapporteurs, needs psychiatric examination.
Presenting in the presence of the media in Geneva the Manila list of criticisms at the address of these officials, where one of them has even been charged with terrorism, Zeid Raʹad Al Hussain said that” must be convinced that the president of the Philippines needs to undergo a psychiatric examination”.
Zeid and other Human Rights officials in OKN consistently criticise the highly controversial anti-drug campaign of President Duttere, even with extra legal actions.
Since his appointment in 2016, about 4 100 traffickers and suspected drug users have been killed by police.
Human rights advocates estimate that the actual number of dead persons is triple the official data.
The UN special rapporteur for case-free murders, Agnes Callamard, is also considered an sworn enemy of President Filipino.
