About 50 people in the Parliament risk remaining unemployed

 Vetevendosje Movement MP Albulen Haxhiu, through a Facebook post, has indicated that about 50 employees maintaining the Parliament are in danger of remaining unemployed due to the cut off of the contract.

She has told of her communication with a Parliament worker who has told her about the risk of leaving work.

The “in that white letter wrote about how the current tender company will cut the contract and that 50 workers from the Parliament will leave with it. They were told to stay there until Wednesday and after that day not to look that way. We've had this case yesterday in the Assembly, but yesterday's circumstances and the actions of Kadri Wessel, we were unable to do it”, Haxhi wrote away.

It has also compared the salaries of government officials and MPs, to those of welfare workers within the Kosovo Assembly who are paid many times less.

The monthly wage that the maintenance workers in the Assembly receive is 160 euros! As long as it's a commission meeting for MPs! In the country's highest institution, maintenance service has been privatised, and in front of our eyes (deputees) workers are treated as scavenging because of people's mafia interests within the”, the MP wrote. She has called for joint engagement with the media to address this issue.
