The previously classified document, written by Republicans and representatives of the intelligence committee, states that the federal investigation of the possible agreement between the 2016 and Russian presidential campaign of Trump was an impression of political prejudice against Trump by the FBI and the Department of Justice, reports “Reuters”, Periscopi broadcasts.
Ignoring a prayer from the FBI, Trump approved the release of the memorandum without editing, deepening an extraordinary violation between the president and senior law enforcement officials on an investigation he has attended during his first year in office.
The Democrats said the four-page memorandum wrongs the character of highly classified information and has been intended to undermine Robert Mueller's criminal investigation into Russia's case, launched in May 2017, which was increased by a previous FBI investigation.
Mueller is also considering whether Trump has committed obstruction of justice in trying to block Russia's investigation.
