Kosovo commits itself to meeting other EU obligations, and Thaci has a direct request for Jean Claude Juncker, president of the European Commission.
”Junker will ask for what we have discussed earlier to accelerate the integration process for Kosovo, and my most likely would be the integration of all Western Balkan countries at the same time”, the president of Kosovo declares in an interview for Top Channel.
Thaci says there is no possibility of partitioning Kosovo. According to him, even Serbia, though not publicly, admits that.
There will be no autonomy! There will be no division! There will be no exchange of territories. Kosovo is a unique country of internationally respected territorial integrity. In one form, Serbia has accepted Kosovo in another. I have met with Serbian leaders and I know they know this is sovereign and this process is irreversible, but none of them have the courage to say it publicly. Without Kosovo recognition, Serbia cannot integrate into the EU, as Kosovo must fulfill its obligations to its neighbours”, it follows.
