Following heavy losses from Poland, Kosovo's basketball national will enter a verbalised mission impossible in the match with Lithuania, held Monday in Klaipeda.
Dardan Berisha will not play this match because of the injury, while Lis Shoshi has broken his nose in a match with Poland and if he plays, he will play in a special protective mask.
The two injuries of first-five players complicate work on the Greenberg selection at the meeting with the main front-runner of the group and the national group that had defeated Kosovo in Pristina as well.
Representative Arben Fetah's director, detailing Berisha's injury, confirmed that “ka has the pull of thigh muscles to the right leg and we suspect there could be muscle corruption. We're taking him to the Vilnius hospital where we're going to get more details”.
On the other hand, Lis Shoshi, according to Fetah “may appear even though his nose is broken. The injury was handled by medical staff and we believe that with special masks it can play”.
The match with Lithuania is the fourth for Kosovo under Group C in World Cup qualifications China 2019.
Kosovo has suffered in its first three matches, while in June it holds matches with Poland and Hungary at home.
Because of the hurt for Kosovo on the faces of the second qualification window, Scott Bamforth is not being presented either.
