Cell phone radiation poses a danger to some types of human cancer.
This shows the preliminary data of a major study carried out by the National Institutes of Health.
6% of male mice exposed by the same radiation that emit mobile phones, although in greater intensity, have developed a type of heart cancer called “schwannoma”.
This study is the largest implemented under the toxicology programme, which relates to the effects of telephone radiation.
The authors have said that there is a need for additional studies to clarify whether telephone radiation is at risk for cancer, yet preliminary data has created the basis for concern.
