Serbian Prime Minister Brnabiq has commented on the German Foreign Minister's visit to Belgrade, Zigmar Gabriel, saying he did not bring them any documents.
According to her, the legally binding agreement with Kosovo is in Belgrade's jurisdiction, Serbian media write.
“He asked us what plans are for the future of dialogue between Kosovo and Belgrade, he did not bring any documents, we discussed, in the middle of, dialogue between the two countries and normalisation of relations”, Brnabiq said.
She praised that it would be pointless if Gabriel brought any documents on the fact that Pristina and Belgrade are talking about these issues.
The “is a matter between Pristina and Belgrade, and it is not necessary for someone to bring any documents to Serbia. Dialogue depends only on us, they can ask us what the future proposals are, but that depends only on us. The German minister's statement in Kosovo has been misinterpreted that Serbia must recognise Kosovo's independence, that is his opinion, he is an Foreign Minister of a state that has recognised Kosovo's independence, but there are five others that have not done so, Serbia should not recognise Kosovo and will not do this”, Brnabiq said.
