Cause for the postponement has become the strong winds that are ruling at the Yangseon Ski Centre, about 40km from South Korea's PyongChang, suggests KOK through a media communiqué.
Skier Tahiri says he had expected that the race would be postponed because of strong winds, though prepared.
I expected to be pushed in some form because of strong winds, but I was prepared for today. We were there with the coach and we were ready, but the organizer informed us that there are no conditions for racing. Tomorrow, I will prepare for Tuesday's competition in the alpimatic combination”, Albin Tahiri told the official KOK site “noc-kosovo.org”.
Otherwise, the race will be held on February 15th, while the preceding race for this date in super slalom has been postponed for February 16.
The KOK says that if the conditions are convenient, then Albin will do the debut Tuesday (February 13th) in the discipline of the alpic combination. /Telegraphy/
