The moment of signing the agreement between Thaci and Vujanovic (FOTO)

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has signed a joint statement with Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic about the border demarcation agreement between Kosovo and Montenegro.

Thaci has indicated that there is already enough room to proceed with ratification of the demarcation agreement, paving the way for visa liberalisation.

I just presented the joint statement that I signed with Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic.
I thank Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic for the consensus he has shown on the border line demarcation agreement between Kosovo and Montenegro.
Thanks to the goodwill of the Montenegrin side and the dedication of the Kosovo leadership, we have signed the joint declaration addressing all concerns of political parties and public opinion regarding the demarcation of the border line with Montenegro.
As specified in this statement, we have agreed to address and correct the eventual errors specified in the joint declaration on border demarcation between Kosovo and Montenegro.
There is now enough room to proceed with ratification of the agreement on border demarcation with Montenegro, thus paving the way for visa liberalisation for Kosovo citizens.
Visa liberalism is the best gift that can happen on this 10th anniversary of independence. Therefore, I am sure that parliamentary political parties will have political will to ratify the agreement without delay. Congratulations. HTH #kosova10
