Minister: Anyone who does not bring quality will be held accountable

Education Minister Shyqi Bytyqi through a long letter has asked the Pristina University Rector to become part of the mission for establishing quality in education.

The sector's response following the administrative ordinance “The International Platforms and Magazines Recencing “, Minister Bytyqi calls it “dubei”.

I've taken Rector's behavior as a weakness, I've tried, and it's my duty not to influence our relationship to the Ministry of University, even though the administrative ordinance won't be sacrificed for the level of those relations”, the Minister Bytyqi wrote.

He has then written that when he took over the minister's office, he had two duties, one of them in his opinion is not to violate anyone's independence, claiming he has not violated the independence of Pristina University “Pristina”.

In his letter to Rector Marjan Dema, the minister says he will not stop looking for qualities in education and that anyone who does not bring quality will be held accountable.

Honored opinion, you side of interest, given the response that has prompted administrative ordinance no. 01-18, “The recognition of the International Platforms and Magazines with Recencing”, what University of Pristina Rector “Pristina”, Mr. Demas, it seems, felt like he was being punished and reacted to a very lack of professional sense even with lies.

I've taken Rector's behavior as a weakness, I've tried, and it's my duty not to affect our relationship with Minister Universities, even though the administrative ordinance won't be sacrificed for the level of these relationships.

When I got to run the Education Dickaster, one of the most basic sectors of society, I put two very basic tasks on myself,

1. ) not compromise with anyone who doesn't work because those who don't get results also deepen bad things, and
2. Let me not violate the independence of anyone who does not belong to me.

The quality of education requires that we react with work and seek responsibility. The Administratorial Order for “The International Platforms and Magazines under this study resulted.

We want to break down the opinion that we haven't dealt with anyone's private life, but we have sought and will continue to look for qualities in higher education everywhere in our country, with this in the UPP “hasan Pristina”.

I guarantee the opinion, the Rector, of any pair of interest that until I'm in the direction of this dictatorship, and until the Haradinaj government has this spirit we won't line up looking for quality, and whoever doesn't bring quality will have to be placed before those responsible depending on the position it is in today.

We're going to try to create circumstances, where everyone feels appreciated and possibly, anyone who did their best work in calling on his academic title. I hope we can do this, so we can overcome inefficient management, which is taking over our higher education through not applying required standards to the development of these institutions.

We also call on Rector Demas to join us on this mission, which will not rest with our mandate and remain a constant challenge, but worth it for generations.

Even though Rector Demas's press conference left me a bitter taste and the media have already exposed it by offering verbal and photo evidence of our meetings, I remain focused on my mission as if the reactor is expecting to remain focused on his duty and his obligations. We will be hardworking for working with any institution of any level of education, but we will not forget the tasks that give us direction from the dictatorship and the serious situation in Education.

This serious situation in education also has the factors of the guilty. The factors will try to improve until the state guilty have built other mechanisms that are not the nature of our work.

By working hard and honestly and professionally, we will succeed.
