Labinot Tahiri withdraws signing to abolish Special Court

Kosovo Assembly MP Labinot Tahiri has withdrawn the signing through which he and several other Parliament deputies have demanded the Special Court's empowerment.

Tahiri, who has resigned from the AKR, on Facebook, has said that although he thinks that the Special Court is at the expense of Kosovo, he refuses to be part of political calculations and that it is not the tool of any of the political leaders in the country.

Dear citizens, today I have withdrawn my signature, which I gave a month ago for the change of specialized rooms. Because many political acts are playing with people's feelings, I'm not one of them. I signed with my heart attack for those thousands of warriors, thinking it's a good thing I appreciated the freedom struggle, which I'd always appreciate. No doubt the Special Court is harmful to Kosovo. I don't participate in political calculations, I'm not a calculator. I'm not the tool of any political leader or person who makes personal calculations to leave hot potatoes in other people's hands, which is that demand (the initiative) has remained in the hands of MPs, which is not in the hands of MPs. I publicly announce to ambassadors of friendly states such as: America's ambassador to Kosovo, Mr. Greg Delaway. The ambassador of Britain, Mr. Ruairi O Connell. Germany's Ambassador Mr. Christian Heldt. Lady Apostolova and the EU office in Kosovo, that I Labinot Tahiri withdraw my signature as MP from that initiative with various scenarios, which is still (AKTIVE). I've never been a Special Court voter, nor do I want to be part of something that can't be brought forward! I will continue with my sacrifices to the population and my country in various forms.
