Krasniqi invites Turkish businesses to invest in agriculture sector

Deputy Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development Minister Vesel Krasniqi has announced to Turkish consultants that Kosovo has sufficient potential for Turkish businesses to consider investment opportunities in Kosovo.

He did this during a meeting he had with the leaders of the consulting company for investment in agriculture and forestman “Asya Tarim”, from Turkey.

Krasniqi has introduced the achievements in agriculture, as well as the support the Government of Kosovo has given over the years for the development of this sector, he said investment from the state has increased markedly.

In the end, Krasniqi added that the Kosovo government would be willing to assist every investor, eliminating bureaucracy and access in any other aspect related to business functioning, the communique said.

Meanwhile, Ibrahim Sanci, head of the company “Asya Tarim”, said they are willing to invest in the fidan sector, mainly in the establishment of seed cultivation greenhouses.
