Kosovo police call Rexhep Selim's statements in the Parliament false and biased

Kosovo police have reacted to a portion of MP Rexhep Selimi's statement, which did it today in the Kosovo Assembly, which said the director of the Kosovo Police should protect the subordinates who committed criminal acts.

Through a reaction to the media, police have called Selimi's statement a false and biased one.

“As far as allegations and hypotheses raised by MP Selimi -- whether the director of the Kosovo Police is protecting the subordinates who have committed criminal acts -- we assure you that these statements are untrue and biased, as Kosovo Police in all cases, including cases referred to by the MP in question -- have taken appropriate co-ordination measures against employees involved in criminal cases, as well as referring to recommendations derived from legal mechanisms under the legal mandate for conducting independent investigations of<1>, the PK response reported.
