The reason for his resignation, according to Chitak, has been to sabotage his work by institutions, says Inseder.

Citaku is a member of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK). He had run for the Communist Assembly of Pristina assimilias in the ranks of this party in the 22 October local elections.
