From the government, they say the prime minister had made a decision to respect the 10th anniversary, declaring that setting the flag is the competence of the municipality and they make such decisions.
The prime minister has already authorised Public Administration Minister Mahir Jagcilar to make the change of the state flag with that national one, and this is expected to happen during today.
Consistently, the state flag had been rejected by individuals, some had even warned protests, saying the flag was protected with blood if needed.
Kosovo's flag was set at the district on February 13th, in the evening hours after the fire department's intervention, KEDSı and police, after initially someone had stolen the flag which authorities had been forced to replace with another alternative.
