Haradinaj: I oppose ideas about dividing the country, Serbia must recognise Kosovo

Even, according to him, Serbia should recognise Kosovo, not open such topics.

We know that from the most damaged borders in the Balkans are Albanians, from the existing borders, actually because we live in different divided states. A present state of borders has been achieved with much effort. Kosovo has its borders, territory itself, and I am against those ideas”, Haradinaj has said in an interview for Top Channel.

The fact that the five s'ena has known makes our relationship with the EU more difficult. The exit from today's situation would be if the 5th part of the EU recognised us or closed the dialogue with Serbia with mutual recognition. I believe the time has come for mutual recognition with Serbia”, he added.

The presidencys have said it is early to talk about the content of the agreement that will be reached with Serbia. They have even said that at this stage even the idea of exchanging territories is mere speculation.

“While what will be the contents of the final historic agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, we must wait for the end of the dialogue. Everything else in this phase is only speculation, including the issue raised by you”, says the response of Hashim Thaci's adviser, Bekim Colak.
