European Commission President Not Comes to Kosovo for 10th anniversary of Independence, Writes Letter to Thaci

But by means of this letter, Juncker has indicated he cannot be at the Assembly session for the 10th anniversary of Kosovo's independence.

Your Honor,

Thank you for your kind letter of January 26, 2018, through which you have invited me to attend the solemn session of the Kosovo Assembly on February 18, 2018, in Pristina.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to give a positive answer to your invitation because of existing commitments on the actual day.

However, I have the pleasure of informing you that I will come to Pristina on February 28, 2018, within my visit to the Western Balkans.

I take advantage of this opportunity to follow my best wishes for the solemn event.
