Education Union Today on strike

The United Education Union of Kosovo through a communique has called for students and parents who, on Wednesday (day) at the first hour, in both shifts do not go to school.

This decision has been made since the Government of Kosovo did not keep its word in relation to education workers.

We seek your understanding and appeal Wednesday, on February 14th, that students are not at school at the first hour in both shifts. Let them be in their dens of wisdom at the right time to begin the second hour. If the situation doesn't change, then we ask that on Tuesday, on February 20, students not be in school in the first two hours of the two shifts but go in time to start school at the third hour. We make this appeal for the sake of our students' safety because teachers are on strike and students in school yards, or without teachers in class, will be challenged by some other fight or risk”, said the SBASK appeal.
