The British President recalls statements from recent months made by vocal Serbian politicians, who have proposed setting the table to discuss the idea of exchanging territories with Albanians.
“Serbs seek to exchange residential areas with Albanians within Serbia to the northern part of Kosovo. Supporters of this theory say multiethnic states do not function in the Balkans”, the article follows.

“Brended Serbia itself, Bosnian nationalists in the Sandzak province would seek joining Bosnia, while Albanians in the West of Macedonia and Montenegro would seek joining Albania”, further added.
As far as this could go, writes the Economist “, that a similar conflict could include two EU member states.
Hungary's “Nationalists have not yet forgotten the loss of Transylvania in Romania, while Romanian nationalists themselves would seek restructuring of borders to include Moldova in large Romania. This is the Balkans and “-Balkanization! Nowadays, the right policy should be to eliminate borders, rather than review them”, the British newspaper writes.
