Some children promote hockey in Pristina

This first - time festival in our country, corresponding to the South Korean Winter Games, has gathered numerous citizens from our country for several days, especially children.

After the ice skating and mushroom sports on the 16th day, hockey sports were promoted. Tens of children were part of this sport from now on.

Rayhane Haliti, responsible for organising the PyongChang 2018 Olympic Festival, told Kosova Preress that today the sport of hockey was officially promoted in our country. According to her, during all these days children's selection of the sport, which according to Halit, children are extremely pleased to have had the chance to prove themselves in hockey.

“Today officially starts hockey was promoted at the Olympic Festival organised by the Kosovo Olympic Committee, at the same time as the Winter Games are being held, where Kosovo's representative is Albin Tahiri, who reaped optimum successes. Kids have been selected all the time on skating, where it's promoting mushroom skating, today hockey is just continuing. You can see that kids are very happy with hockey. There are three formed groups, their coach has been training them over the clock, and we think about for the first time hockey is in Kosovo, there has been a good start”, Haliti said.

She has added that children's participation has been very large, and according to her, children are really happy with the PyongChang 2018 Olympic Festival. Haliti even says that many schools and parents of children have received congratulations for organizing this festival.

Meanwhile, Fatos Rexhepaj, the hockey coach, highly regarded hockey life in Kosovo. According to him, children's participation has been big enough in hockey promotion, but according to him, even in the past days of the PyongChang 2018 Olympic Festival.

I appreciate the child's participation, there's a lot of kids. Here are some children who have been more active during skating days. Right now they're playing hockey. The ice hockey game is the first game since with the promotion of skating and the big opportunity of children here gave us an opportunity to develop a hockey game. This is the first hockey game to be held in Kosovo”, Rexaj stressed.

The PyongChang 2018 Olympic Festival will continue tomorrow, and according to participants, it is expected to have numerous children to enjoy the sports of this Olympic festival.
