The governor of Bermuda has signed a law on restoring the marriage bill between the same gender, prior to a Supreme Court ruling last year authorising the marriage of the same sex, reports The Guardian”, transmits Periscopi.

Labour Minister Walton Brown has said the law was signed by Governor John Rankin to balance objections to same sex marriages in a conservative society by respecting the decisions of European courts that ensure the recognition and protection of same sex couples in the territory.
