The teenager who killed 17 people in a Florida high school is Nicholas Cruz, 19, suspended earlier by this school.
It is learned that Cruz has activated the fire alarm so that students can exit their classrooms and then open fire. He avoided the police by pretending to be one of the terrified students running to save their heads.
He was arrested an hour after the massacre began.
Braward County Sheriff Scott Israel said 19-year-old had been expelled from this school a year ago for “disciplinary reasons” that are not yet known.
Cruz was armed with an AR rifle 15 and smoking grenades when he entered school in a gas mask and killed 17 students and staff.
