Australia's Parliament is facing calls for the ban on sex between politicians and their staff following a relationship between Australia's deputy prime minister and his former adviser, which triggered national debate.
Calls come after the controversial discovery that National Party leader Barnaby Joyce has been separated from his wife after having a child with a former adviser.
Kathy McGowan, an independent MP, said she is considering a request for stopping these relations.
