In this case, European Union Office Chief Natalija Apostolova has said she welcomes the joint declaration between the presidents of Kosovo and Montenegro for demarcation of the border as an important step towards the visa-free regime for Kosovo.
She has announced that at a meeting in the presence of President Thaci, political parties showed that a broad consensus in Kosovo's interest.
Furthermore, Apostolova has said he hopes the demarcation will be ratified quickly.
“We are expecting the successful and soon to ratify the long-verbalised agreement on demarcation with Montenegro that will bring Kosovo citizens the possibilities for free movement”, Apostolova said.
